Overall, it can be clearly stated that DOCUMENT 6 are constantly evolving and becoming more grindcore and brutal from album to album and also the quality of the recordings are constantly improving. This is certainly due to the fact that the band has so far recorded and mixed every recording on their own. 100% DIY, that´s Grindcore!
Insgesamt ist feststellen, dass sich DOCUMENT 6 von Album zu Album weiter entwickelt haben und immer von Veröffentlichung zu Veröffentlichung immer extremer und brutaler wurden. Auch die Qualität der Aufnahmen wurde stets besser. Das liegt sicherlich auch daran, dass DOCUMENT 6 jede Aufnahme selbst aufgenommen, abgemischt und gemastert hat. 100% DIY, that´s Grindcore!
2021:The darkest and most brutal album to date, “Grindcoregasmus”. Released on “Endwar Records”.
Das bis dahin düsterste und brutalste Album “Grindcoregasmus” wurde über “Endwar Records” veröffentlicht.
2020: Another album “Grindpa’s Hobby” released on “Clabaster Records”.

2019: With “Grind (r)evolution”, DOCUMENT 6 returned to the roots. 100% grindcore.
Mit der “Grind (r)evolution” kehrten DOCUMENT 6 zu den Wurzeln zurück. 100% Grindcore.
2017: Rob (formerly also WikseR, RyvoK) on bass and Farvann on guitar came into the band. Farvann is known with his Youtube Blackmetal content out and has about 80,000 subscribers. And in this line-up DOCUMENT 6 also returned to 100% Grincore and German-language lyrics.
Rob (vorher bei WikseR, Ryvok) übernahm den Bass und Farvann die Gitarre bei DOCUMENT 6. Farvann ist auch durch den gleichnamigen Blackmetal Youtube Kanal mit rund 80.000 Followern bekannt. In dieser Besetzung kehrte DOCUMENT 6 zu 100% reinem Grindcore und deutschen Texten zurück.
2016: DOCUMENT 6 organized and completed a DIY European tour. It covered countries such as Lithuania, Croatia, Serbia, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Hungary and Romania were played. Shortly after the tour, however this line-up broke up again and Rolf needs new bandmembers.
DOCUMENT 6 organisierte und absolvierte eine DIY Europatour durch Länder wie Litauen, Kroatien, Serbien, Italien, Deutschland, Niederlande, Belgien, Ungarn und Rumänien. Leider zerbrach die Besetzung kurz nach der Tour und Rolf musste erneut nach neuen Bandmitgliedern suchen.
2014: The line-up of the band changed almost completely. With the exception of drummer Rolf all positions were newly filled. In a new line-up DOCUMENT 6 completed a tour in Israel in April 2014. After the tour the style changed to more experimentell Death-Grind and english vocals suited this sound best.
So DOCUMENT 6 released their second EP “Openmind” in December 2014.
In 2014 wechselte die Besetzung von DOCUMENT 6 komplett. Bis auf die Drums von Rolf mussten alle Positionen neu besetzt werden. Aber in neuer Besetzung wurde im April 2014 eine Israel-Tour absolviert. Der Musikstil wurde experimentell und zu diesem Sound passte englischer Gesang am Besten. So wurde im Dezember 2014 die EP “Openmind” veröffentlicht.
2013: The band released the EP “Blut” with a new singer.
Die EP “Blut” wurde mit einem neuen Sänger veröffentlicht.
2012: In January 2012, Rolf founded the band DOCUMENT 6. The name was chosen because Rolf was studying Mayan culture at the time and came across the Dresden Codex. DOCUMENT 6 played their first concert just a few months later and in December 2012 they released their first DIY album. A concept album against fascism and racism in which the hypothetical rise and fall of a fourth Reich is dealt with lyrically.
Im Januar 2012 gründete Rolf die Band DOCUMENT 6. Der Name wurde gewählt, weil Rolf sich zu diesem Zeitpunkt mit der Maya-Kultur beschäftigte und dabei auf den Dresdner Kodex stieß.
Bereits einige Monate später spielten DOCUMENT 6 das erste Konzert und im Dezember 2012 wurde das erste DIY-Album veröffentlicht. Ein Konzept Album gegen Faschismus und Rassismus in welchem textlisch der hypothetische Aufstieg und Fall eines vierten Reiches behandelt wird.
